Personal Attendant Care Inc. is a charitable non-profit organization, providing personal support and assisted living to individuals with physical disabilities, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, in the Durham Region, allowing them to remain independent in their community for over 30 years. In 1992 the organization transitioned into home support services to ensure individuals could stay in their own home, and receive the support required to achieve this. We were founded in 1974 as a supportive housing unit for adults. We continuously strive to improve our quality standards and have been accredited through Accreditation Canada since 2000.
