He has tamed the tresses of countless stars, the Jonas Brothers, including Bon Jovi, Anne Murray and Johnny Cash. As their reputation grew, they were commissioned for fashion shows and magazine work. He was soon joined by his brothers, Roy and Jean, and together they owned and operated four salons in the city. 'Looking at a person's silhouette is the most important thing and we do that here in the salon using long mirrors so we can look at a person's body, their face and their profile.'Georgio captured the attention of CBC after opening Guys and Dolls studio in downtown Toronto. Today, Georgio Aywaz has brought the lessons learned on TV and movie sets to Georgio's Salon Spa in Downtown Brooklin.'When you're on set, you're watching monitors for six hours a day so you learn what styles look good on camera,' says Georgio. Georgio began working with CBC in the mid-1980s and worked on the Juno Awards from 1985 until its sale to CTV about five years later.
